Collection: Bald Eagle Camouflage

This eagle camo was created by a series of bald eagle photographs that I took while observing these majestic birds of prey. Growing up, we rarely saw bald eagles in our neck of the woods due to many perils: habitat destruction, illegal shooting and contamination of its food source largely as a consequence of DDT. These factors decimated the eagle population. At their lowest point there were only 417 bald eagle nests in the lower 48 states after banning DDT and listing bald eagles as endangered species for about 25 years, that number has grown to over 5,000! Yay!!!
